BHATT HISTORY

Here i am giving some details about BHATT .
BRAMBHATT / BHAT/Bhat or Bhatt, meaning "scholar", is predominantly a Hindu surname, and is common in many ethnicities in India. This surname is commonly used in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat (spelled "Bhatt") and Kashmir (spelled "Butt").Bhat are considered a Kashmiri tribe in Pakistan.

The earliest reference of Bhat can be found in Chandragupta's empire. In 'Mudrarakshasa', while describing different divisions in Chandragupta's army, a reference can be found to Bhat-Bala. Here 'Bala' means a division, hence 'Bhat-Bala' would mean a division composed of 'Bhat'. Chanakya had brought with him his disciples from Taxilla, who served as his loyal companions throughout his life. These disciples were also charged with training armies of Brahmins, to reduce the upper hand maintained by Kshatriyas in the indian politics. It can be conjenctured that the 'Bhat' spread all over the india is due to the reason that they were posted throughout the Maurya Empire as required.

There are also Brahma Bhats . Bhats  were also known to keep genealogies of Rajput kings. The most common surnames for the Bhat caste are Barot, Brahmbhatt, and Rao. Some famous Bhats include Aryabhatta (ancient Indian astronomer), Bana Bhatt (renowned 7th century Sanskrit scholar), Birbal, Sanjay (from the Mahabharata)and Brahmanand Swami.
The name "Bhat" is a predominantly Brahmin last name. Among the communities in India with this last name are the Havyaka Brahmins, the Goud Saraswat Brahmins, and the Madhva's.

Actually friends we have more detail about our cast  BHATT
i will post that from time to time

thanx.............

Brahmbhatt Brahmins were superior in all Brahmins
Brahmbhatt is an Indian surname and subcaste traditionally related to the Brahmin caste. Brahmbhatt is derived from the Sanskrit roots "Brahm", meaning "to grow, increase"[1], and "Bhatt", meaning "priest"

[2] and possibly indicating the subcaste's position in both the Brahmin and Kshatriya varnas.Brahmbhatt (Devanāgarī ब्रह्मभट्ट) is an Indian surname representing a Vedic/Indo-Aryan peoples, to be found mainly across West India and North India, in India. Primarily Warrior Brahmins, this classic social entity possesses the characteristics of Brahmin as well as Kshatriya as per the caste system prevalent in India. Although, they are basically considered to be Brahmins, regarded as Subhatts or Warrior Brahmins. More often they had been nobles and court advisers in kingdoms since Vedic times. In social hierarchy and ranks, the Brahma Bhatt / Brahmbhatt clan has further spread into and seem to have covered Bhat (surname), Bhatt at some places, Barot, Balwa, Badva, Bhatt Raja or Vahivancha groups also, whereas Brahma Bhatt is originally a distinct ethnic group of a higher rank. Primarily, they were found in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Later they are found to have concentrated in Rajasthan and more in Gujarat & Saurashtra regions.

  19. As per mythological accounts and according to Hinduism, this identity has been said to have emerged as human embodiment out of a Yajna / Yagna performed by Brahma and they are even to date regarded as Saraswati Putra (descendents of mother Saraswati) in many parts of Gujarat, while other belief goes for Shiva created a branch for preserving order, and spread art, culture, spiritual knowledge in society, while at the same time protect and secure the society, either first by knowledge and enlightenment (Shaastra) or by Astr (at battlegrounds).
And as per those beliefs, Brahmabhatts are said to have originated from Devpuri or Alkapuri and Himalayas, traversing across Naimisaranya, Gangetic Belt and Indus & Saraswati territories of Vedic era. Their presence includes Nepal, Kashmir, Punjab, Kannauj, Magadh, Kashi, present day Bengal and Bangladesh, Rajputana, Malva, Surashtra (Saurashtra), Dwarika kingdoms, while spreading up to far West in Europe, primarily occupying present day Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Rome, France and Germany under different definition and identity. The fact is Brahmabhatt, often termed as Subhatt or Warrior Bhatts in Vedic times, are found all across Indian Subcontinent, Central Asia, and across Europe. Brahma Bhatts find references in Ramayana, Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, Buddhism, some Vedic references, many religious scriptures and imperial gazetteers.

  20. Brahmabhatts' migration and concentration in Gujarat
At present, those who still have maintained their social, traditional and cultural identity, along with their orthodox constitution, are found in Gujarat, and they are popular as Brahmabhatt. Majority of Brahmabhatts would trace their immediate origin to Rajputana, North India and North West India, including present day Pakistan. Apparently, other title signified to Brahmabhatt in Gujarat is Barot and there are several stories behind they are being called as Barot. Brahmabhatt or Barot have been present and have played a very crucial and critical part in the History of West, North-west and North India. Presently often referred with the land of Gujarat due to their large number of population, Brahmabhatts are found present in this province since 7th Century and peculiarly since 11th and 12th Century during several migrations took place from Rajputana towards Gujarat and Saurashtra. However, some old groups across Gujarat and Saurashtra are claimed to have been present in Surashtra and Dwarika Kingdom since the Mahabharat period.

  21. Identity, Role and Functions
They are often said to have natural - god gifted skills and courage to teach difficult subjects pertaining to spirituality, socialism, bravery, diplomacy, humanity, religion and cosmology to people in very understandable and simple form, at the same time, they can offer themselves readily at the battlegrounds, as and when needs be any. And thus, traditionally they are said to have characteristics and duties that of Brahmin and Kshatriya (Rajput), although they are more inclined to and known for their Kshatriya character and such traits. Strict followers and devout of Shakti (Goddess / Devi) they are generally Shaivites, these Brahma Bhatts were known for their dominant following to celibacy, vision, diplomacy, truth, justice, discipline, their promises, sacrifice and penance.

  22. Function and Profession
Those in traditions of preaching, poetry and genealogy were sometimes alleged for exaggeration and fabrication of matter, however facts and truth still remained there in subtle form. Significantly, during feudal era, and after barbarian attacks and subsequent invasions, the emerging poor socio-economic picture of India prompted other tribes and castes too to indulge into the fields and profession of Brahma Bhatts, eventually picking up as and introducing themselves as Bhat/Bhatt/Brahmbhatt, which would result into literature and poetry of superficial and excessive nature. At the same time, growing population and political - vocational transitions may have attributed to this aspect where their main income source would remain their literature and available service sectors at subjected times.
    Primarily they were:
    Advisers & Nobles in kingdoms
    Court Poets & Poets
    Historians
    Litterateur
    Diplomats & Notary
    Warriors
    Preachers & Priests
    Story-tellers
    Artists & Folk Artists
    Singers / Bards
    Genealogists, etc.

  23. Overlooking ancient mythological accounts, some historical research works suggest that it is mentioned in ‘Shrimad Bhagwad Gita’ that kings (Kshatriyas/ warriors) of that time used to get their daughter to ‘Rishi’ (Brahmins) in order to serve or worship them. The mixed breed of Brahmins and Kshatriyas were called ‘Brahmbhatt’= Brahm (Kshatriya) + Bhatt (Brahmin). Thus, Brahmbhatt ‘Sanskar’ (knowledge) of Brahmin, due to the Brahmin father and ‘Rakt’ (Blood) of Kshatriya, due to Kshyatriya Mother. There are some examples like 1. Chavan Rishi, great Brahmin of his time, was made marry to a king’s daughter. 2. King Dushyant’s daughter was given to a rishi. Brahmbhatts were given due respect in society and were called ‘Deviputra’ (Son of God). They used to be in ‘Rajdarbar’ (committee of the king) as a poet or adviser of king.
It remained in practice for a long time through feudal era that only Brahmbhatts had rights to speak against king or interfere in his talks of decisions. There is a saying in Gujarati ‘Raja no ghodo rokvano hakk fakta Barot nej’ it means, ‘Only Barot has right to stop horse of the King’. Brahmbhatts are very ready wit as, it is said, Goddess Saraswati is placed on their tongue and may be that’s the reason Brahmbhatts got surname of ‘Barot’= Bar (12) + Hoth (Lips), even Birbal was Barot. According to their role in the society and their talents, Brahmbhatts got different surnames like Barot, Dasondi, Sharma, Inamdar, Rao, etc.

  24. Transformation, Social Highs and Lows
During their another successive immigration from kingdoms of Rajputana to Gujarat, they were divided into different levels under their caste. And this is when and where the other castes with a little similar social/cultural orientation, such as Charan, Gadhvi, Vahivancha, Bhat/Bhaat, Bards, etc. who are found across Gujarat have inherited and followed some practices and profession which the Brahmabhatts would do once in a while, such as poetry, story-telling, writing, worship, etc. These phenomenons, along with genealogy became chief identity of other above groups of Charan, Gadhvi, Vahivancha, etc. and later, it became significant to have an official/principal Barot for every caste and community who would keep genealogical and statistical-historical records of generations, and eventual cross-breeding gave birth to many divisions and emergence of a high-to-low social chronology in this caste.
During the reign of Gayekead in Gujarat, many Brahmbhatts got converted into Barot because ‘Baharvatiya’ (pirates of that time) were only leaving ‘Bawa (Sadhu/ Prophet), Baman (Brahmin) and Barot’ while raiding people. Baharvatiyas used to inform the person to be looted 24 hours in advance sending them ‘Jasachitthi’ (Raid-note). One of the writers mentions, the Grandfather of his Grandmother was sent this Jasachitthi by Mirkha, a very famous pirate of his time, but he (great maternal grandfather) was not looted as pirates came to know that he was Brahmbhatt (Barot). Eunuchs, even today, give due respect to Barot as they are known as Deviputra (Goddess's own child), and in history, a Barot used to drive the chariot of Goddess Bahuchara. Eunuchs believe in Goddess Bahuchara as she is their ‘Kud-devi’ (Progeny Goddess). So, now, if you come to India and have to face any eunuch just say that you are Barot, He/she will leave you.
Mainly the Vahivancha Barots/Bhats and other such groups denoting the lower layers and categories used to work in Gujarat to keep ancestral records of Brahmbhatts and gradually, they also started being considered as a low caste Barot. In Gujarat, around 36 different sub castes of Brahmbhatts are considered in lower layer/category. Vahivancha Barots roam in Gujarat, family to family and update records for which they get some money. One may get lots of information about his family, of last 7 or more generations and also related stories of our ancestors. However, the practice of genealogy has almost ended and those rare manuscripts of some eminent Vahivancha Barots of ancient times across India, are matter of antiquity and history, with a great neglect being shown towards this fine piece of empirical historical data which can help lay down and correct some great authentic chapters of Indian History.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Modern times
When India become republic Barot caste were added in the list of SEBC (Socially and Economically Backward Cast) so they can get certain benefits from Govt. of being SEBC. Actually, Barots have never been SEBC but while kingdoms were getting merged into the Government, all the kings were asked if they wanted to put any caste of their kingdom in the list of SEBC. As, Barots were adviser and very close to the King, even at that time, they asked kings to put Barot caste in SEBC list. And at that time also, many Brahmbhatts had changed their surname to Barot because Brahambhatt caste was not included as a sub caste of Barot (Hindu-Barot as in constitution).
At present, even today, the Brahmabhatts majorly occupy the branches and sectors of administration, defense, security, art, literature, theater, governance, advisory, diplomacy, consultancy, law and jurisdiction and such infrastructure.

  26. Who is a Brahmin?
The belief that people born in brahmin caste, automatically become brahmins, is a much later concept in the very ancient land of India. In the pre-Gita period (before the beginning of the Christian era) a Brahmin was a person who had attained highest spiritual knowledge (brahmavidya). This was an extremely difficult path of discipline of body, mind , and intellect, and people irrespective of their birth or class, who dedicated to such an austere life were recognized as brahmins.
A great example of this tradition (that a person becoming a brahmin, rather than born as one) is the case of Vishwamitra, a warrior (kshatriya), who became a brahmin after attaining brahmavidya, and composed the Gayatri mantra, the most sacred hymn of the Hindus.

A smritis, or code of conduct composed by sage Atri defines brahminhood very clearly.

"By birth, every man is a Shudra (an ignorant person). Through various types of disciplines (samskaras), he becomes a dwija (twice born). Through the studies of scriptures, he becomes a vipra (or a scholar). Through realization of supreme spirit (brahmajnana), he becomes a brahmin."

    Who is Brahmin?

The Bhagavad-Gita divides1 the class of people into four categories of Brahmana, Kshtriya, Vaishya, and Shudra depending on the traits (svabhava) inherent in individuals.

  27. Brahmins Generation and their Gotra system.
    Brahmin gotra system
The word "gotra" means "lineage" in the Sanskrit language. Among those of the Brahmin caste, gotras are reckoned patrilineally. Each gotra takes the name of a famous Rishi or sage who was the patrilineal forebearer of that clan. And each Gotra is addressed by the suffix 'sa' or 'asa' as relevant.
The concept of Gotra was the first attempt among Brahmins to classify themselves among different groups. At the beginning, these gents identified themselves by the names of various rishis (Angirasa, Atri, Gautam, Kashyapa, Bhrigu, Vasistha, Kutsa, and Bharadwaja; the first seven of these are often enumerated as Saptarishis). It is to be noted that Vishwamitra was initially a Kshatriya king, who later chose and rose to become an ascetic rishi. Hence the gotra was applied to the grouping stemming from one of these rishis as his descendants.
    List of Brahmin Gotras

  28. Brahmin communities
Brahmin communities in India are traditionally divided into two regional groups: Pancha-Gauda Brahmins and Pancha-Dravida Brahmins according to the following shloka found in the Rajatarangini of Kalhana (12th century):

"The Karnatakas, Tailangas, Dravidas, Maharashtrakas and Gurjaras; these five (-types who- ) live south of Vindhya (- mountains) are (called-) "Dravida" (- brahmins); (whereas-) Saraswatas, Kanyakubjas, Gaudas, Utkalas, and Maithilas, who live north of Vindhya (- mountains) are known as "five Gauda" (- brahmins)."
The shloka only identifies the caste-system present on the basis of their regional presence. The classification of Brahmins, the highest varna, on the basis of Region is debatable (compare the Brahmin gotra system).

A school of thought believes that Gauda is sometimes taken to mean the Gaur region of Bengal. However the original meaning of the term coincides with region termed as Brahmakshetra:

But prior to that only as a precautionary steps King Ranasinh Pratap has requested Brahmin Community to migrate to safe place (being Akbar was Muslim emperor and may take wrong steps on Brahmin Community, since Brahmin were doing all Prayers for GOD in those days). But King Ranasinh Pratap requested that you should be continue worshiping Eklanji Mahadev only. Which is still continued by all Mewada Brahaman Community.
As per some articles (source: Book in Gujarati -"Dabo Melyo Mewad") it is understood that during 1280 under the leadership of Mr. Mahanand Trivedi 999 Brahmin shifted from Mewad towards Gujarat and near Tahsil: Bhiloda there is a Village called "Narsoli" they established Eklingji Shivalay. This migration is due to contineous Muslim attacks on Mewad and harassing Brahmin community specifically. In the same book it is referred that during 1303 Allhuddin Khilji has killed 640,000 brahim male members and thrown their scared thread (Janoi / Ugnopavit / Upnayan / Janva) in 1600 litters of blood. As per some views there were 10,000 brahmins and blood sheds were abouts 30 litters. To avoid these mass killings Brahmin community migrated towards Gujarat.

  33. Saryupareen Brahmins

Saryupareen Brahmins , also known as Sarvarya Brahmins or Saryupariya Brahmins, are North Indian Brahmins residing on the eastern plain of the Sarayu near Ayodhya. Saryupareen families such as the Chaturvedi, Tripathi, Tiwari, Trivedi, Dwivedi, Pandey, Mishra,Shukla, and Dikshit were involved solely in the research and analysis of Vedas and other religious texts, performing yajnas and other religious practices. These families did not perform 'pujas for benefactors and did not take dakshinas or donations against such prayers. Hence they were considered to be solely devoted to the quest of learning about the Vedas and spreading knowledge rather than benefiting in any way through benefactors. Along with the other Pancha-Gauda Brahmin communities, the Saryupareen traditionally preserve the customs and traditions as prescribed by ancient Hindu canons.

  34. Bhat clan
Bhat or Butt , both of which are a shortened rendition of Bhatta is a Kashmiri surname, found among individuals native to the Kashmir Valley of Kashmir, as well as Kashmiri émigrés who have migrated to the Punjab, a region in Pakistan. Kashmiris bearing the surname Bhat belong to the larger Bhat caste of Brahmins found in the rest of the India; the surname is shared by both Hindus and Muslims.

Historians state the surname is a distorted form of Bhatta, which originates from Sanskrit (भटट), meaning "scholar" according to Brāhmaṇa. While the original shortened rendition of the Bhate,"Bhatta" caste was "Bhat" or "Bhatt," many of the migrants to the Punjab, started spelling their surname as "But" or "Butt" which is the spelling of the clan used in the Pahari language. The difference in spelling between "Bhat" (used in Kashmir) and "Butt" (used in Punjab) is because at the time of the last British census, the governors of the two provinces used different spellings. Since ancient times, Kashmiri traders would spend summers at home in Kashmir preparing their goods (carpets, shawls etc.) and in the winter months, would migrate to prosperous Punjab to trade their goods. Those that were trading in Punjab or settled in Punjab at the time of the census started spelling "Bhat" as "Butt" due to the British governors' interpretation. In 1947, those who were in Punjab decided to stay due to the uncertain future of Kashmir and kept using "Butt", while some returned to Kashmir but continued using "Butt".
People named Bhat were said to be a clan of Brahmin descents of intellectual Vedic and Dardic saints that inhabited the banks of the Saraswati River, which ran dry around 2000 BC. This forced the community to migrate to Kashmir in search of "ultimate truth". Up to about the beginning of the 13th century, Islam became the dominant religion in Kashmir as a large number of Kashmiri Pandits converted to Islam.

  35. Bharadwaja

Bharadwaja also spelled Bhardwaj(Sanskrit: भरद्वाज, IAST Bharadvāja) was one of the greatest Hindu Sages, being descendant of Ṛṣ Aṅgirasā, whose accomplishments are detailed in the Purāṇa. He is one of the Seven Great Sage in the present Manvantara; with others being Atri, Vasiṣṭha,Viśvāmitra, Gautama Muni, Jamadagni, Kaśyapa.
Bharadvāja Bārhaspatya is the progenitor of the Bhāradvāja family and the family is attributed as the composers of Sixth Maṇḍala of the Ṛgveda. Maṇḍala 6 is known as the Bhāradvāja Family Book as all its 75 hymns are composed by a member of this family over several centuries. He is believed to be a contemporary of King Bhārata. Maharṣi Bharadvāja and his descendants were respected and powerful priests-like ṛṣi of several clans/dynasties of the Puru tribe, such as the Bhāratas and the Pañcālas.
Sage Bharadvāja was a sage of the Vedic times. He was the son of Bṛhaspati. He attained extraordinary scholarship. He had the great power of meditation. He is also the author of Āyurveda. His Āśrama still exists at the holy Prayag (Allahabad).
Another Bharadvāja Ṛṣi, a remote descendant of the progenitor, probably a disciple of Vālmikī Muni, was father of Guru Droṇācārya and grandfather ofAśvatthāma from the epic Mahābhārata.
Maharṣi Bharadvāja was the son of Devarṣi Bṛhaspati. Devarṣi Bṛhaspati was the son of Maharṣi Aṅgirasa. These 3 Ṛṣi are called the Traya Ṛṣi, meaning The Three Ṛṣis of the Bharadvāja Gotra. Guru Droṇācārya, the royal guru to Kauravas and Pāṇḍavas in the epic Mahābhārata was the son of sage Bharadvāja. He was a master of advanced military arts, including the Devāstras. The Āśrama of Maharṣi Bharadvāja is situated at holy Prayag.
Among all the seven gotras Bharadvāja is the largest chain.
In Rāmāyaṇa, Śrī Rāma along with Sita and Lakṣmaṇa went on exile for the words of his father. Rama along with them went through many forest regions starting from crossing Saryu river with help of Guhan, head clanman and a friend of Rama's father Daśaratha. As he traveled he visited many Rishi's Ashrams and met many rishis and sages including Agastya, Gautama and Bharadvāja. Śrī Rāma and others rested in Bharadvāja's āśrama when they were crossing Prayag and accepted his offerings as great sages knew that Śrī Rāma is incarnation of Mahā Viṣṇu, Sātā Devī is goddessLakṣmī and Lakṣmaṇa is none other than Śeṣa Nāga.
In the Buddhist Vinaya Pitaka of the Mahavagga (I.245) section the Buddha pays respect to Bharadwaja by declaring that the Veda in its true form was declared to the Vedic rishis "Atthako, Vâmako, Vâmadevo, Vessâmitto, Yamataggi, Angiras, Bhâradvâjo, Vâsettho, Kassapo, and Bhagu" and because that true Veda was altered by some priests he refused to pay homage to the altered version.

  37. Brahmbhatt is derived from the Sanskrit roots "Brahm", meaning "to grow, increase"[1], and "Bhatt", meaning "priest"

Out of the 10 territorial divisions comprising of Panch Gaud(Northern Brahmins) and Panch Dravid(Southern Brahmins), BRAHMBHATT

are the supreme priests of SARASWAT Division of the PANCH GAUD.

As per mythological accounts and according to Hinduism, this identity has been said to have emerged as human embodiment out of a Yajna / Yagna performed by Brahma
According to old mythology Brahmbhatts are the Manas Putra of Brahma Creator God.Brahma the Creator---created men with ability to reproduce rear and enlarge the whole society with all his creative abilities. In order to ensure proper functioning of the society, Brahmaji created 10 Manas Putras named Atri, Angiras, Pulastya, Marichi, Pulaha, Kratu, Bhrigu, Vashistha, Daksha and Narada and directed them to work amongst society, and they worked very well for the upliftment of the society. The Brahmbhatt Brahmins of the Saraswat Division are the descendants of the Manasputra of Lord Brahma.

Brahmbhatts are given due respect in society and were called ‘Deviputra’ (Son of God). They used to be in ‘Rajdarbar’ (committee of the king) as a poet or adviser of king. Only Brahmbhatts had rights to speak against king or interfere in his talks of decisions it is said, Goddess Saraswati is placed on their tongue and called SARASWATI PUTRA the goddess who is wife of Brahma. They lived along the Sarswati river (Kashmir,Rajasthan,Gujrat and Sindh,Present Pakistan) and composed Sutras and vedas along the Sarswati River.Till Mauryan period they were the Sanskrit only speaking priests and as they migrated they passed their knowledge to their sons/descendents and other classification and class of Brahmins emerged .Brahmbhatt Brahmins are also called Saraswat Brahmins and all the Brahmins of Kashmir,Gujrat,Rajasthan and northern part of Indian subcontinent fall under Sarswat Division of the Panch Gaud.

A large part of the community has migrated over the centuries and largely settled in Bihar,UP,Maharastra,Goa and other Deccan part.

The Grief stricken Kashmiri Pundits are non other than Brahmbhatts/Bhatts technically who never migrated from the valley and their forefathers lived as sage in the vedic period. Kashmiri Pundit is just a popular name given to them initially they are Brahmbhatt/Bhatt Brahmins of Saraswat Division of the Brahmin Classification having surnames such as Bhatt,Bhar,Dhar,Koul etc.

  61. Dear All,
Sabse pahele mai apko ye batana chahata hu ki Bhatt aur Brahmbhatt dono alag cast hai, Bhatt brahmin mai ata hai, aur Brahmbhatt Barot ya rao alag cast hai jo brhmin me nahi ati. Bhatt, Bhat, Butt yeh sab Bhatt brahmin ko alag alag area mai alag alag roop se bola jata hai. Kashmir mai jo pandit Musalman ban gaye unho ne surname butt rakhi. baki pure desh mai UP, Punjab, Rajsthan, Gujarat etc mai brahmin bhatt hote hai.
Aryabhatt bhi bhatt the. Bajirao Peshwa bhi Bhatt the. Bhatt ladai aur yudh kala me kafi kushal hote the. Mahesh Bhatt, Alia Bhatt bhi Gujarati Brahmin hai. Jaha Tak OBC ka sawal hai, brahmin me kuch state me jo OBC arakshan liya hua hai , waha par BHAtt OBC mai ate hai, Jaise UP aur Bihar, Baki Bhatt kafi uchi cast mai ate hai. Krupaya Ap sabhi log apne Bhatt hone ka gaurav kare. Jay Hind Jay Parsuram

  66. I am frm Bihar. I belong to the bhatbramhan community. I have heard people saying that this caste is nt a bramhan caste, they consider this community as lower one and sometimes they assume this the Muslim community. This is the reason for which many persons of this community have hidden their identity so tht no one consider thm inferior or lower.

But First idiots are Brahmbhatts themselves because they don't know about themselves...

    Really Ignorant Community we have...

But I know very well that we are born at a superior place.

Some parents don't know who are Brahmbhatts ?
When you ask your Grand parents they would say that we are Kshatriya (Darbaar) or we are Poets our we are possessing qualities of Brahmins and Kshatriya...etc

But my Grandfather always worn Janoi and Believed firmly that e are far more Superior than Brahmins.

We are not like other Brahmins.
We are brave we are courageous just like Parshuram.

    We Are Bhardwaj Vansh.

Only a few were wearing Janeu at that time and bhi today no one wears a Janeu....

And a Huge Shock I felt when I asked one of my relatives cold that common beta say who are Brahmbhatts?

He said that We may be Some thing like HARIJAN or some thing even WORSE and also OBC(other backward caste)...

This impression was created because of spoiled young generation of our community in that remote place(Bad guys drinking and fighting and illiterate and unemployed and Unmarried)

So this one is also another factor of our downfall

And cause of our reduced self respect.

I request you Brothers and Sisters please Kul ka Naam mat dubana

    Aaur aise yuvao ko jagao
Daru Cigrette Tambaku bandh karao Please Please Please!!!

Koi yuva ko Ghar par mat bethne Diya jaye !!!!

Aaur aapna Aasli Itihas relatives ko kaahe .

    1. I am very curious to know about my caste(Bhatt brahmin). Some says that we are lower section of brahmins even some don't consider us as a Brahmin. Specially the other brahmins community( Mishra, Pandey, tiwari etc..) who resides along west uttar pradesh. Event they have a mentality of not marrying their girls to a Sharma( Bhatt brahmin) boy i.e a lower section brahmin n simply give reason that they can't do kanyadaan to Sharma family as they are lower section brahmin.
So plzzz help me to know our real roots..
